Mindfulness Meditation
Toward a gentler, more compassionate world

My training is as a “Mindfulness Meditation Teacher.”
I like to separate that definition into two parts:
Mindfulness is your state of being and the quality of your life as you focus on the present moment with gentleness and compassion and without out any judgement while being witness to and appreciating all experiences as they unfold, even the difficult ones!
Meditation is the more formal, structured series of actions or the practices that you establish on your own personal mindfulness journey. What that means is that while you can be mindful without meditating, you will find that your ability to live a more mindful life will improve considerably when you create a regular, individual, structured meditation practice.

10 Week Mindfulness Meditation Program for Adults
This is an in-depth 10-week course, offered live and online specifically for adults. We hope to offer an introduction to Mindfulness Meditation Course to teens later in 2026.
In this comprehensive program you will learn about what mindfulness meditation is and the many benefits a regular practice can offer to you. Examples include strategies for reducing stress, managing the effects of anxiety and depression, building self awareness, developing emotional regulation and resilience skills, growing in self-compassion and compassion for others, feeling more present and connected to self and others, achieving greater performance, sharpening your cognitive function, and growing in mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
Each class is 90 minutes in length and offers opportunities for questions and discussion.
You will receive a pdf workbook before the course starts that contains reminders, practice information, journey writing prompts and extra pages for journalling, self guided meditations, and more, all designed to assist you on your learning journey.
The next 10 week “Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation for Adults” class will start in January 2026. Details and registration will follow on the Events page. Registration will begin in mid-December and class size will be limited to no more than 20 participants.

Topic based Mindfulness Meditation classes every two weeks.
Each session will be 60 minutes in length and will focus on specific mindfulness meditation topics such as Metta (loving kindness), the search for wisdom, self compassion, gratitude, focused awareness, resilience, and much more.
Additional sessions will offer the opportunity for you to address challenges such as anxiety, grief, fear, finding your own voice, and living in a complex world.
Each session will offer a downloadable pdf worksheet you can use to continue developing your practice.
The topic-based class schedule is pending, and we hope to begin those offerings in early November. Details and registration will follow on the Events page. Opportunities for questions will be limited to allow us to open each class to as many participants as possible.
Join the Fox Ridge Community and practice together
On Wednesday evenings beginning in April, 2026 participants will have the opportunity join “Wisdom Wednesdays” from 7pm to 8pm Mountain Time. This is a one-hour, community based online event where we will practice guided meditation together.
Please see the events page for registration details.

Asynchronous Mindfulness Meditation Training
Beginning in 2026, occasional asynchronous - self-directed classes will be offered to participants. Each class or course will be no more than 4 hours in length and split over 4 one-hour sessions where there will be reading, practice, and reflection, all completed at the participant’s own pace. Participants will also have access to the Meditation Teacher for any questions that arise.
Please see the events page for registration details.
